1. Rinse the plant: Gently rinse the plant to remove any liquid or gel.
2. Split the plant: Divide the plant into smaller portions using scissors (especially useful for carpet plants like Hemianthus).
3. Plant in the substrate: Use tweezers to plant the sections into the aquarium substrate.
4. For epiphytes (Microsorum, Bolbitis, etc.): Secure these plants to hardscape using fishing line.
