They have a rich, buttery flavor that is often described as similar to lobster.
Habitat:

Rock shrimp are found in warm, deep waters of the western Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico, from Florida down to the Bahamas.
Diet:

They are omnivores, feeding on a variety of items including bivalves, other crustaceans, and plant matter.
