Sapucaia Seed Pods (Lecythis pisonis) come from the Amazon Jungle in Peru. Used to both decorate the aquarium and for adding vital elements too in soft water set ups. Long lasting, their hard and woody structure means they are great for use in both aquariums and vivariums. Once they have become water logged and have sunk to the bottom of the tank, they will release lovely soft brown coloured tannins and biofilms will form on them. These make excellent natural caves for small fish such as dwarf cichlids and Plecos, along with amphibians such as Dart Frogs too.
